Apply a pea-sized amount of Nourish with your fingertips, patting it on and then smoothing it out.
Apply directly to scars and stretch marks to promote wound healing and reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
Apply Nourish directly to scalp and hairline. Using the pads of your fingers, gently apply pressure in a circular motion section-by-section throughout scalp and along hairline.
Apply Nourish on dry hair, split ends and scalp. Massage with your fingers and leave on for about 30 minutes (or overnight) before washing hair.
Mix 2 dropperfuls of Nourish with your regular deep conditioner, apply to hair and cover with shower cap then sit under a steamer for 30 minutes or wrap a hot towel around the shower cap. Rinse out.
Mix a few drops of Nourish with your leave-in conditioner, massage throughout hair and style as you normally would.
When mixing our Illuminate Clarifying Face Mask, put 2 - 3 drops of Nourish into your mixture to impart even and glowing skin.
Put 2 - 3 drops of oil in your palms, spread it evenly in your palms and fingers and brush palms along the sides, front and bottom of your beard.
Before toweling off and while your skin is still damp, drop oil over your entire body, giving dry spots an extra does of oil.
Wash hands and massage a few drops of Nourish directly into damp hands.

The Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) is the largest event of it’s kind to discover the best indie brands on the market. It’s 3 non-stop days of seminars, courses, consumers, buyers, press and influencers. Currently, the expo is held in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. Indie Beauty is one of the largest categories, and we’re excited to be a part of this movement! I met so many amazing brands and hearing about their trials and success was inspiring. I left IBE Dallas enthused and excited about our conversations with retailers, influencers and press. We’re looking forward to announcing some incredible partnerships in the coming months. You can always find out where we’re carried on our stockists page.
Dallas went so well that we decided to do IBE NY! If you’re in the New York area, I hope you can join us at Shop Indie in New York on August 23rd from 5-9 pm at Skylight Clarkson Square. Explore, discover and shop over 200 independently owned beauty brands from across the nation and globe. You can find us in Studio 1 at Booth A206. I’ll be sharing my beauty ritual and my inspiration behind Beneath Your Mask, if you haven’t already, read it here. Not only will we be launching our new face mask, but we’ll also have some awesome contests and promotions. I hope to see you there!
Check out the highlights and catch some of the energy from IBE Dallas below. Cant wait to do it again in NY!
If you’re thinking about attending the expo as a consumer or brand let me know in the comments.
Now back to work I go, because this booth is not going to design itself!
XOXO,

]]>Tamanu is one of those oils that’s effective for oily skin. We’re taught to steer clear of oils when we have oily skin, however, the right combination of oils can actually balance both oily and dry skin. That’s what I strive for when creating a product because I like products that are beneficial to all skin types and don’t require you to buy a million different products for every single issue your skin is dealing with. It’s also great for environmentally stressed skin, which we all pretty much have!
See the list of tamanu oil’s benefits below:
Benefits
In addition to the benefits listed above, tamanu oil contains antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, thus it treats many skin conditions penetrating the skin’s layers where the infection begins. Our tamanu oil, sourced from Madagascar, is certified organic, cold-pressed and unrefined.
Try adding tamanu oil to your beauty routine with our Indulge Total Body Elixir. Indulge, as all of our products, is multi-use and can be used on skin, hair and nails. Have you used tamanu oil in your beauty ritual before? If so, let me know in the comments!
]]>What I love about avocado oil is that it’s non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores. That’s really important because that means it’s safe for both face and body. If you’re familiar with our line, you know I love a great multi-tasking product that can be used all over. Avocado oil is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, minerals, vitamins A, C, D, E and K, beta carotene, protein and lecithin. These vitamins and minerals make avocado oil a great moisturizer and skin protectant.
I’ve listed many of the benefits of avocado oil below. You’ll see why we had to include this botanical powerhouse in both Heal and Polish.
Benefits
In addition to the benefits listed above, avocado oil is also great for hair and nails. It’s also super absorbent, so wont leave your skin feeling greasy.
Try adding avocado oil to your beauty routine with our Heal Whipped Skin Soufflé or our Polish Detoxifying Body Scrub. Heal, as all of our products, is multi-use and can be used on skin, hair and nails. Combined with Polish, this duo is the ultimate pampering experience! Have you used avocado oil in your beauty ritual before? If so, let me know in the comments!

I’ve listed many of the benefits of rosehip seed oil below. You’ll see why we had to add this superior oil to our hair and face serums!
Benefits for Hair
Benefits for Skin
In addition to the incredible benefits it provides for skin and hair, rosehip seed oil moisturizes, nourishes and strengthens brittle nails. It also helps to prevent unwanted infections while improving the appearance of your nails.
The rosehip seed oil we’ve sourced is certified organic, cold pressed and unrefined. We prefer unrefined versions of oils as they retain all the benefits that would otherwise be lost in the refining and extraction process.
Try adding rosehip seed oil to your beauty routine with our Nourish Hair Serum. Our hair serum, as all of our products, is multi-use and can be used on skin and nails as well. It’s also amazing for rashes and scars.
]]>I’m a huge believer in your beauty ritual being just as much about what you put in your body as what you put on your body. That’s why spirulina has been a part of my regimen for the last few years. I was first introduced to this blue-green algae by my guru as part of my healing process, and I’ve never stopped using it since. Our skin and hair is a direct reflection of our inner health, and the body doesn’t provides nutrients to skin, hair and nails until AFTER they have been distributed to the rest of your body.
Incredibly high in protein and nutrients, spirulina is a huge boost to any plant-based diet. This potent superfood contains so many of the nutrients our bodies need to survive and thrive. Spirulina possesses remarkable nutritional value that results in incredible health benefits, and is loaded with proteins, vitamins, minerals, fatty and amino acids which benefit skin and hair. I’ve listed some of these benefits below:
Seriously! That’s a lot of benefits!
I use the powdered form of spirulina, but it’s available in pill form as well. I usually just mix 1 tablespoon in 16 ounces of green juice. You can also cook with it and incorporate it into your diet in many ways. The scent and taste can be very strong, so find which way is best for you and your palette. Beauty is pain though; so don’t let the taste scare you away!
I get my spirulina here, as it’s the least processed spirulina and has been dried in the sun. It’s shipped from India so shipping takes a while, but I can’t live without this potent superfood! By the way, I have not been paid or offered anything. I’m just sharing my personal preference.
Have you tried this potent superfood? If so, what was your experience? Let me know!
