As we prepare for Indie Beauty Expo NY in a couple weeks, I wanted to share some of the highlights from our experience at Indie Beauty Expo Dallas. It was our very first trade show, and we were voted a buyer favorite! This was huge for us, as we met buyer’s from some of our holy grail retailers, so to know they loved us as well is an amazing feeling! Building a brand is not easy by any means, so to see how well Beneath Your Mask has been received is a feeling I can’t even put into words.
The Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) is the largest event of it’s kind to discover the best indie brands on the market. It’s 3 non-stop days of seminars, courses, consumers, buyers, press and influencers. Currently, the expo is held in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. Indie Beauty is one of the largest categories, and we’re excited to be a part of this movement! I met so many amazing brands and hearing about their trials and success was inspiring. I left IBE Dallas enthused and excited about our conversations with retailers, influencers and press. We’re looking forward to announcing some incredible partnerships in the coming months. You can always find out where we’re carried on our stockists page.
Dallas went so well that we decided to do IBE NY! If you’re in the New York area, I hope you can join us at Shop Indie in New York on August 23rd from 5-9 pm at Skylight Clarkson Square. Explore, discover and shop over 200 independently owned beauty brands from across the nation and globe. You can find us in Studio 1 at Booth A206. I’ll be sharing my beauty ritual and my inspiration behind Beneath Your Mask, if you haven’t already, read it here. Not only will we be launching our new face mask, but we’ll also have some awesome contests and promotions. I hope to see you there!
Check out the highlights and catch some of the energy from IBE Dallas below. Cant wait to do it again in NY!
If you’re thinking about attending the expo as a consumer or brand let me know in the comments.
Now back to work I go, because this booth is not going to design itself!
XOXO,
Dana
