Avocado oil is the next ingredient I wanted to highlight because we use it in two of our top selling products, Heal Whipped Skin Soufflé and our Polish Detoxifying Body Scrub. Ingredient transparency is really important to me, and I want you to be aware of the ingredients in our products as well as their benefits. All ingredients are not created equal, so when choosing a particular botanical to formulate our products with, I’m adamant about sourcing the ingredient from its native country and getting the unrefined, cold-pressed version so that it retains all of its therapeutic properties. We source the avocado oil used in our products from Kenya.
What I love about avocado oil is that it’s non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores. That’s really important because that means it’s safe for both face and body. If you’re familiar with our line, you know I love a great multi-tasking product that can be used all over. Avocado oil is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, minerals, vitamins A, C, D, E and K, beta carotene, protein and lecithin. These vitamins and minerals make avocado oil a great moisturizer and skin protectant.
I’ve listed many of the benefits of avocado oil below. You’ll see why we had to include this botanical powerhouse in both Heal and Polish.
Benefits
In addition to the benefits listed above, avocado oil is also great for hair and nails. It’s also super absorbent, so wont leave your skin feeling greasy.
Try adding avocado oil to your beauty routine with our Heal Whipped Skin Soufflé or our Polish Detoxifying Body Scrub. Heal, as all of our products, is multi-use and can be used on skin, hair and nails. Combined with Polish, this duo is the ultimate pampering experience! Have you used avocado oil in your beauty ritual before? If so, let me know in the comments!
